About ElectroNeek
ElectroNeek is the intelligent automation platform where autonomous AI agents, RPA bots, and people work as one digital workforce. Y Combinator backed (W20), trusted by Xerox, Ricoh, Sage, and 7-Eleven, with 1M+ workflow runs per month across 350+ integrations - SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance following.
We're at the most exciting moment in our 7-year history. We've moved automation from scripted bots to truly autonomous AI agents that plan, decide, and collaborate - and it's already live in production!
We work with both direct customers and partners across a wide range of industries, helping them adopt and expand automation initiatives.
About The Role
The Technical Support Engineer is a hybrid position that combines product support with hands-on software development. It is a strong fit for a developer who enjoys being close to customers and wants their code to solve real-world problems. You will spend most of your time coding - resolving bugs (both customer-reported and internally found) and shipping new features alongside the engineering team - and part of your time handling customer tickets, reproducing issues, and converting recurring problems into permanent product improvements.
We work AI-first: the team uses AI tools such as Claude Code every day to write, review and debug code faster, and we expect you to do the same.

- Investigate technical problems in customer environments: installations, permissions, performance, and logs.
- Write clear public responses to customers and document known issues and workarounds.
- Analyze support processes and find possibilities for automation and improvement.
- Own L3 (engineering-level) resolution of escalated defects: root-cause them in the codebase and ship the fix, rather than handing them off.
- Reproduce reported bugs, root-cause them, and turn recurring support issues into permanent product fixes.
- Contribute to feature development and product improvements together with the engineering team.
- Assist with customer implementation and delivery work when needed.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
- Act as a bridge between customers and the product/engineering team.
- Proactively surface improvements from support interactions and advocate for fixes that reduce ticket volume.
- Support or customer-facing experience 2+ years.
- Commercial software development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (2-3 years hands-on, used at work).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills: reading logs, errors and stack traces, and diagnosing environment issues.
- Working knowledge of APIs, SQL basics, HTML, and system administration fundamentals.
- Actively using AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code) as part of daily development and troubleshooting.
- C1-C2 English level, written and spoken.
- Experience with RPA, business process automation and document processing, or no-code platforms is a plus.
- A computer science degree is a plus.
- Product- and customer-driven mindset: treats support as a source of product improvement, not just ticket-closing.
- Strong written communication - able to write clear, professional public ticket answers.
- AI-first mindset: uses AI to work faster, while reviewing and validating its output critically rather than trusting it blindly.
- Ownership, proactivity and self-motivation in a fully remote team.
- Comfortable context-switching between deep coding work and incoming tickets, and prioritizing between them.
- Eager to learn new technologies; thrives in a fast-paced startup culture.
- Fully remote position.
- Full-time Mon-Fri 10 AM - 7 PM EST.
- Competitive compensation paid in USD.
- Independent consultant contract for non-US citizens, aimed at long-term collaboration.
- Paid Time Off.
- Modern AI-first stack. You will use the best tools available, including Claude, to do your best work.
