About Hanover Park
Hanover Park builds AI systems that run the financial operations of the world’s most sophisticated investment firms. As an AI-enabled service and fund administrator, we’ve become the way fund CFOs adopt AI. We've raised $31 million from Emergence (investor in Salesforce/Zoom), Susa (investor in Robinhood/Flexport) and angel investor fund CFOs from Bain Capital ($180B), Clearlake ($100B), CD&R ($80B), and Hellman & Friedman ($80B).
Our mission is to be the financial infrastructure to orchestrate how the world's capital is operated, governed and allocated. Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments. In the next decade, the AI systems we build will advise $100B investment firms on their largest acquisitions and eventually unlock alpha for investors.
The role
We're ~60 people scaling to ~100 by year end. As we grow, the operational complexity of the business is growing just as quickly. We need someone whose job is to make sure our highest-priority initiatives get executed.
Right now, too many cross-functional priorities don’t have a clear home. Initiatives get started and stall. Owners aren’t always clear. Follow-through is inconsistent not because the team isn’t good, but because no one’s job is to make sure things land.
As Business Operations Lead, you’ll report to our Head of Strategy & Operations and work across the company to drive our highest-priority initiatives from problem to resolution. You’ll own the operating systems and cross-functional initiatives that keep a fast-growing company from losing things in the gaps.
This is a high-trust, high-visibility role. You’ll work closely with leadership across the company and have broad exposure to how Hanover Park operates and scales.
What you'll work on
Launching special projects end to end: scoping, staffing, tracking, and closing them out
Building capacity, utilization, and performance visibility for fund accounting and services
Turning company priorities into owners, deadlines, and execution plans
Running follow-through on cross-functional initiatives across product, recruiting, finance, and ops
Resolving operational loose ends before they escalate, and knowing when to pull in the right functional or company leaders
Owning launch readiness and outstanding-item tracking across the business
Owning the company financial model and using it to drive planning and decision-making
Building and maintaining the internal operating system: dashboards, trackers, and live priority views
Creating accountability loops across cross-functional initiatives and functional owners
What we're looking for
The ideal background is someone who has operated in a high-intensity, analytical environment (investment banking, private equity, consulting, strategic finance, business operations, or a Chief of Staff role at a high-growth company) and wants to own outcomes rather than advise from the sidelines.
Need:
Ability to context-switch across finance, ops, product, and people without losing the thread on any of them
Strong financial modeling skills: you can build and own a model, not just read one
High ownership: if something is at risk of falling through the cracks, you catch it before it does
Comfort operating with incomplete information and tight timelines
Instinct for when to escalate and when to just handle it
Nice to have:
Familiarity with private markets, fund administration, or financial services
Experience building internal operating infrastructure from scratch
Prior exposure to a Series A or B company scaling through a growth inflection
This isn't the right fit if
You want a well-defined job description that doesn't change week to week
You need explicit direction to know what the highest priority is, or need every problem fully scoped before you can start solving it
You're more comfortable analyzing problems than owning the resolution
You want a 12-month ramp before carrying real responsibility
Why now
The next 12 months determine whether Hanover Park scales cleanly or under strain. The person in this seat will work across nearly every part of the business and have unusual visibility into how a fast-growing company scales. What you build here becomes the operating infrastructure for a company that will be managing more capital than most banks.
If that sounds like your kind of problem, let's talk.
