ABOUT KICKOFF
Kickoff is an AI-enabled wellness super app and coaching service. Our mission is to give everyone in the world access to life-changing healthy habit formation, so they can live healthier, happier lives. We consolidate all things wellness in one place - from exercise to nutrition to sleep and mindfulness - and deliver personalized recommendations daily via a dedicated human coach. Clients get the best possible programming and stick with it due to the accountability of their coach. We're helping the world shift to a more preventive approach to health.
THE ROLE
We are looking for our first Product Manager to build the future of wellness. This is a generalist role focused on product and user experience but with significant responsibilities in business operations, strategy, growth, and analytics.
He or she will collaborate with our Founder/CEO, Product Designer, Head of Growth and engineering team to start new clients and improve client experience. This will require weaving together AI, incredible design for clients + coaches, and the latest in behavioral science.
This role comes with a lot of responsibility and is not for everyone - it is for someone who wants to scale a world-changing product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own ambitious projects related to growth and user experience, combining product management and operations to test a minimum remarkable product and iterate to an incredible product
- Conduct user research, competitive research, and analysis to understand underlying client needs and opportunities to delight
- Identify opportunities to drive client retention and client referral by delighting clients so much they recruit friends and family to train with us
- Work closely with Kickoff’s CEO to devise, test, and iterate on the optimal client programming and journey for our target client personas
- Serve as a leadership team member and help to guide Kickoff’s strategy
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Skills and experience
- Expertise in using both quantitative data (i.e. metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (i.e. user surveys, interviews, competitive analysis) to inform prioritization and decisions
- You can analyze data yourself by writing SQL queries and using data analysis and event tracking tools
- Strategic mindset and experience - ability to prioritize in the midst of overwhelming numbers of opportunities
- Startup experience
- Product experience - you've been a PM or had significant exposure to product challenges
- Design and UX skills - you don’t have to be a designer but you do have to be able to think like one
