About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Product Data Analyst to join our growing Product Operations team. This role will drive our product data strategy, automate reporting, and uncover insights that shape product decisions. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, thrives on data exploration, and enjoys crafting compelling narratives from numbers. They will work closely with Product Managers, Leadership, and Executives to translate data into actionable recommendations that enhance our product development and strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Own product data strategy & reporting automation: develop and implement scalable data solutions that streamline reporting and analytics.
- Quantitative analysis: perform deep dives into product and business data to unlock insights and opportunities.
- Support hypothesis testing: collaborate with PMs to validate product hypotheses with rigorous data analysis.
- Data analysis & insights: analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and key insights related to user behavior, product usage, and market dynamics.
- Reporting & visualization: build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and communicate findings effectively.
- Self-service dashboards & data literacy: create and maintain self-service dashboards to democratize data access across teams, empowering stakeholders to find insights independently. Lead "brown bag" sessions to educate teams on how to interpret and utilize these dashboards, improving overall data literacy within the organization.
- Data quality assurance: ensure data accuracy and consistency, partnering with relevant teams to resolve data issues.
- Forecasting & predictive analytics: develop forecasting models to estimate product performance and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Cross-team collaboration: work closely with the business data science team while maintaining a dedicated focus on the product organization’s data needs.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in SQL, including advanced query writing and performance tuning.
- Mastery of Excel, including complex formulas and modeling techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar.
- Experience with data tools including product analytics platforms (Amplitude) and customer data platforms (Segment).
- Strong experience in statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline design.
- Ability to analyze big data volumes efficiently and translate findings into business recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven narratives to product teams and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a consulting or data analysis role with a focus on product analytics.
- Experience with product-led growth
- Familiarity with product management methodologies and an understanding of digital product development lifecycles.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and product teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
