About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence and elevate how our Product, Engineering, and Design teams collaborate to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
This is a senior individual contributor role — the right hand to the Director of Product Operations — responsible for owning high-impact projects end-to-end, leading through influence, and embedding a strong product mindset into how we operate.

The ideal candidate combines product management fluency with operational rigor: you think in terms of problems, customers, and outcomes, not just processes. You’re able to define the “why,” establish success metrics, and use frameworks such as impact vs. effort to prioritize work that matters most. You bring clarity, accountability, and structure in ambiguous environments, and consistently deliver results with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own projects end-to-end: Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve product delivery, from problem definition through execution and impact measurement.
  • Drive process improvements: Identify and implement changes that enhance efficiency, transparency, and alignment across Product, Engineering, and Design.
  • Apply a product mindset: Start with the problem, define success metrics, and prioritize using impact/effort or similar frameworks to focus on high-value outcomes.
  • Governance & frameworks: Develop and evolve scalable frameworks that improve decision-making, portfolio planning, and roadmap visibility.
  • Tooling & templates: Own the optimization and effective use of product development and productivity tools (e.g., Productboard, Jira, Confluence, AI) to enable better collaboration and visibility.
  • Cross-functional influence: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to drive alignment and ensure smooth execution.
  • Coaching & enablement: Foster a community of practice across teams, sharing best practices in agile, lean, and outcome-driven product operations.
  • Continuous improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to raise the bar on how we plan, execute, and measure success across the product organization.

Expected Impact

  • Clear and measurable improvement in roadmap visibility and alignment across teams.
  • Improved collaboration and productivity between Product and Engineering teams.
  • Increased focus on high-impact work, leading to better product outcomes and execution efficiency.
  • A stronger, data- and customer-informed product operating rhythm across the organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or Program Management at a high-growth software company.
  • Proven ability to frame business problems, define success metrics, and connect operational improvements to strategic outcomes.
  • Expertise in product development tools (e.g., Productboard, Jira, Confluence) and experience implementing scalable workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and lean methodologies, and how to apply them pragmatically.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and executive audiences.
Demonstrated bias toward accountability, ownership, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence, providing clarity and direction in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic prioritization mindset — skilled at focusing on what matters most and avoiding unnecessary complexity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: [$145,000 – $165,000 annually] In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
  • What CloudBees Offers:

    • Dental Insurance
