We’re hiring a high-agency, strategically-minded Product Leader to own product vision and strategy in the private equity domain. This isn't about backlog management or sprint planning—it's about deeply understanding PE workflows, harvesting customer feedback, and crafting product strategy that leapfrogs existing solutions rather than replicating them.

You'll work directly with the CEO, CTO, and clients to translate market insights into product momentum. You'll be customer-facing, joining client meetings, understanding deal team behavior, and translating those insights into strategic product decisions that drive competitive advantage.

What You’ll Do

  • Own customer-facing product strategy. Join customer meetings, harvest feedback, and translate PE workflow insights into strategic product direction.
  • Lead domain expertise development. Become a private equity technology expert who understands not just what customers do, but how to leapfrog their current processes.
  • Craft strategic product vision. Work with designers to reimagine workflows rather than replicate existing ones—focus on "here's a cleaner, brand new way of doing something."
  • Bridge customer insights and execution. Synthesize customer calls, usage patterns, and market feedback into clear strategic roadmaps.
  • Design for competitive differentiation. Architect product strategy that creates defensible advantages in the PE technology landscape.
  • Drive strategic planning cycles. Lead quarterly and annual product planning, connecting business objectives to market opportunities.
  • Shape product positioning. Define how individual features ladder up to platform capabilities and market positioning.
  • Communicate vision externally. Present product strategy and roadmap to customers, prospects, and stakeholders with confidence and domain credibility.

Who You Are

  • Senior product operator with proven track record in enterprise SaaS and customer-facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of private equity workflows, deal teams, and investment processes—or demonstrated ability to rapidly develop domain expertise.
  • Experience being customer-facing: comfortable joining client meetings, presenting roadmaps, and building relationships with enterprise users.
  • AI-proficient with experience integrating AI capabilities into product strategy and user workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills—equally effective in customer presentations, Jira tickets, Figma comments, roadmap decks, and exec meetings.
  • Strategic mindset focused on market differentiation rather than feature parity, and sharp instincts around UX, product structure, and long-term compounding value.
  • Experience in building product strategy that drives both user adoption and competitive moats.

Bonus Experience

  • CRM or workflow automation tools
  • Private Equity or capital markets software experience
  • AI-native product thinking (e.g. integrating LLMs, leveraging AI agents, or designing human-in-the-loop systems)
  • Fintech or vertical SaaS products with real workflow depth
