We're hiring someone with private equity experience to work directly with our CEO to drive long-term value realization for our clients–some of the world’s most sophisticated investment firms. You'll manage post-implementation customer relationships, conducting QBRs, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring customer health. Your industry background will be invaluable in understanding client needs, speaking their language, and building credibility with investment teams.

What You'll Do

  • Own customer health and retention. Monitor customer usage patterns and proactively address risks to adoption or satisfaction using your understanding of how investment teams actually work.
  • Serve as industry translator. Bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities, helping engineering and product teams understand the nuances of PE workflows.
  • Build strategic relationships. Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders at each firm, leveraging your industry credibility and shared background.
  • Conduct strategic account reviews. Lead QBRs and check-ins that focus on business outcomes rather than just product usage metrics.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback. Gather customer insights and translate them into actionable product and business strategy recommendations.
  • Represent Meridian externally. Present at client meetings, industry events, and customer advisory sessions with authentic industry expertise.
  • Support contract renewals and expansions. Partner with sales on renewal conversations and upsell strategies informed by deep customer understanding.

Who You Are

  • Private equity or credit deal sourcing experience - you've worked at an investment firm and understand deal workflows, team dynamics, and operational challenges.
  • CRM experience - you’ve used CRMs to assist in PE deal sourcing and relationship tracking.
  • Account management or relationship management experience - you know how to manage client relationships and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills - comfortable managing multiple client relationships and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable in client meetings, presenting to investment teams, and maintaining regular client correspondence.
  • Startup mentality - excited about building processes and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, high-growth, self–directed environment.
