About Meridian AI, Inc.

Meridian is the leading CRM and data intelligence platform for private market investors. We are trusted by top-tier firms across private equity, credit, hedge funds, and institutional LPs and today power over $500B in assets under management. Built by a team with deep investing and technology expertise — including alumni from Blackstone and Thoma Bravo — Meridian offers an integrated system of record that combines software, structured data, and proprietary AI to streamline how investment teams operate. Our customers no longer need to stitch together Salesforce, PitchBook, or spreadsheets. Meridian delivers a single, unified platform purpose-built for the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence to IC management, portfolio tracking, and reporting. We’ve raised $7M in seed funding from world-renowned VCs and are growing rapidly, with an exceptional inbound pipeline and consistently increasing contract values. Several firms have signed multi-year contracts exceeding $200K+, and demand continues to accelerate.

Description

What You'll Do

  • Configure the platform for new customers. Set up tenants, custom fields, user roles and permissions, workflows, and platform-level settings to match each customer's investment process. Own the configuration end-to-end across the customer base.
  • Lead data migration and import. Take customer data and clean, map, transform, and load it into Meridian. Validate accuracy, resolve mapping issues, and sign off on quality before go-live. Work independently to bulk import data or with our engineering team to migrate data from other platforms via API.
  • Build repeatable processes. Document configuration patterns, build templates for common customer types, and create import tooling that makes future onboardings faster and more reliable.
  • Support ongoing customer needs. Handle configuration changes, bulk data refreshes, and platform tweaks for existing customers as their needs evolve.
  • Raise the bar on data quality. Build the standards, checks, and tooling that ensure every customer's environment is accurate, complete, and trustworthy from day one.

Who You Are

  • 2-4 years in a hands-on technical or operational role at a SaaS company, CRM admin team, or data/BizOps function.
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills. You can work fluently with VLOOKUPs, pivots, data cleaning at scale, and complex transformations without significant oversight.
  • CRM admin experience. You've configured a CRM or similarly complex platform to create custom fields, permissions, workflows, and understand how a CRM is structured.
  • Methodical and detail-obsessed. Configuration and data work rewards precision. You double-check, validate, and catch the thing that's almost right but not quite.
  • Strong written communicator. You document your work clearly so the next person can pick it up without context. You can explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable being the owner. You don't wait for someone to tell you the next step. You scope the work, build the plan, and drive it to completion.
  • Customer-aware, even if not customer-facing. You understand that every configuration choice affects a real user's day, and you make decisions accordingly.

Bonus Experience

  • Exposure to private markets, financial services, or investment workflows
  • Experience at a seed or Series A startup, where roles are broad and ambiguity is common
  • SQL or light scripting (Python, JavaScript) for data manipulation
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations or ETL tools
  • Experience with onboarding/implementation processes at a B2B SaaS company

Why Join Us

  • Own a critical function end-to-end. Configuration and data quality make or break customer onboarding. You'll own both, with the autonomy to build the systems and standards from the ground up.
  • Work with sophisticated customers. Top private equity, credit, and VC firms will rely on the environments you build. The work is technical, detail-oriented, and visibly impactful.
  • Build the playbook. This is a foundational role on a small team. What you build now becomes how Meridian onboards every future customer.
  • Strong company momentum. Join a well-funded, fast-growing company with exceptional product-market fit and accelerating customer demand.
