The Customer Implementation Manager owns the client relationship and project delivery for Meridian's white-glove implementation process. You'll be the client-facing project lead from contract signature through go-live and handoff to Customer Success, partnering closely with our Platform Specialist who handles the technical backend work (configuration, data migrations, integrations). Every new customer's first real experience of Meridian, and their willingness to expand, renew, and reference us, runs through this seat.

About Meridian AI, Inc.

Meridian is the leading CRM and data intelligence platform for private market investors. We are trusted by top-tier firms across private equity, credit, hedge funds, and institutional LPs and today power over $500B in assets under management. Built by a team with deep investing and technology expertise — including alumni from Blackstone and Thoma Bravo — Meridian offers an integrated system of record that combines software, structured data, and proprietary AI to streamline how investment teams operate. Our customers no longer need to stitch together Salesforce, PitchBook, or spreadsheets. Meridian delivers a single, unified platform purpose-built for the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence to IC management, portfolio tracking, and reporting. We’ve raised $7M in seed funding from world-renowned VCs and are growing rapidly, with an exceptional inbound pipeline and consistently increasing contract values. Several firms have signed multi-year contracts exceeding $200K+, and demand continues to accelerate.

Description

Applicants must be based in North America

What You'll Do

  • Own the client relationship and timeline. Lead the full implementation from kickoff through go-live. Build the project plan, set milestones, manage dependencies, and hold the line on timeline. You are accountable for on-time delivery.
  • Gather requirements and provide recommendations. Run discovery sessions to understand client workflows, success criteria, and technical constraints. Don't just execute requests, provide informed recommendations on workflow design, taxonomy, field structure, and adoption strategy that draw on what works across our customer base.
  • Translate requirements for the Platform Specialist. Convert client business needs into clear, complete technical specifications. Coordinate sync settings, integration discussions, and data migration scope.
  • Deliver training and enablement. Run live training sessions for different user roles. Build polished, client-ready decks, guides, and best practice materials that reflect Meridian's standards. Support adoption through office hours, refresher sessions, and change management guidance.
  • Capture baseline business metrics. Work with the client during implementation to identify and document the measurable business outcomes they want Meridian to drive.
  • Run clean handoffs to Customer Success. Produce thorough handoff documentation, transfer full context, and run a structured transition that leaves no gaps in the CSM's understanding of the customer.
  • Manage scope and escalations. Evaluate change requests, assess timeline impact, and communicate trade-offs clearly. Escalate critical issues, navigate sensitive situations, and pull in product, engineering, or leadership when specialized expertise is needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of client-facing implementation, project management, or customer onboarding experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong project management skills. You can run multiple complex implementations concurrently without losing track of details, commitments, or follow-ups.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. Implementation work rewards precision, including requirements that are complete, documentation that's accurate, handoffs that leave no gaps. You catch the thing that's almost right but not quite.
  • Advisor mindset. You provide informed recommendations to clients rather than just executing what they ask for. You bring a point of view.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You translate fluidly between business and technical audiences, and your documentation is clear enough that the next person can pick it up without context.
  • Strong deck-building skills. You can build clear, polished, client-ready presentations that communicate complex information cleanly and reflect well on Meridian.

Bonus Experience

  • Exposure to private markets, financial services, or investment workflows
  • Experience at a seed or Series A startup, where roles are broad and ambiguity is the norm
  • Background in CRM implementations (Salesforce, HubSpot, DealCloud, Affinity, or similar)

Why Join Us

  • Own a critical function end-to-end. Implementation is where customers form their first real opinion of Meridian. You'll own that experience and have the autonomy to shape how it runs.
  • Work with sophisticated customers. Top private equity, credit, and hedge fund firms will rely on the implementations you lead. The work is substantive, detail-oriented, and visibly impactful.
  • Build the playbook. This is a foundational role on a small team — what you build now becomes how Meridian onboards every future customer.
  • Strong company momentum. Join a well-funded, fast-growing company with exceptional product-market fit and accelerating customer demand.
