We’re building OpenHands, an open-source AI platform that empowers engineering teams to accelerate development, automate workflows, and integrate intelligent coding assistance into real-world software delivery.
We are hiring Members of the Technical Staff on our agent team, which is in charge of research and development activities for OpenHands
What You’ll Do
Incorporating the best research work on agents and code generation into the OpenHands framework
Performing novel improvements in areas of interest to improve agent performance and efficiency
Running and implementing evaluations to ensure agent quality
Implementing infrastructure related to evaluating or serving code generation agents
Collaborating with the open-source community on research initiatives
What You Bring
Experience in some of the following areas:
Significant research in LLM-based agents, code generation, or software engineering
Practical agent engineering experience, including harness development, training, evaluation, and deployment
Experience with use of agents in enterprise settings
Experience in collaborative development of AI related projects, particularly open source
