We're also expanding into rent payment and embedded fintech services to simplify property management further. The Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead and scale RentSpree’s embedded fintech platform for landlords. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that enhance landlord tools, optimize payment solutions, and deliver value-driven customer experiences. You will drive RentSpree’s transition to new business models while integrating payments and fintech into property management workflows, helping landlords and tenants achieve seamless, intuitive financial and property management.

This role is hybrid, based in Seattle (2x/week in-office.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for RentSpree’s landlord domain, ensuring alignment with the company’s 2025 objectives.
  • Business Model Innovation: Spearhead the shift to new business models that deliver tangible value to landlords and tenants, increasing adoption and retention.
  • Payments & Fintech Integration: Lead the development and scaling of embedded payment and fintech solutions, including rent payment, lending, insurance, and other financial tools, to improve user experience and drive revenue.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance landlord and tenant experiences by building and refining tools focused on payment flexibility, operational scalability, fraud prevention, and self-service capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, other product managers, and operations teams to deliver seamless, customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize customer insights, market research, and analytics to inform product direction, optimize performance metrics, and measure success.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of trends in proptech and embedded payments to ensure RentSpree remains at the forefront of landlord-focused solutions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Expertise in embedded payments and fintech verticals is required, with a proven track record of successfully integrating payment and fintech solutions into SaaS workflows
  • Proven success transitioning products from transactional to subscription-based models
  • Background in fintech, proptech, or payments-related products is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including taking products from 0 to 1 for consumers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with thought leaders in Thailand when needed (~5-7pm PT)
  • This role is hybrid, based in Seattle (2x/week in-office.)
