USD 84k-125k / year
At Shield AI, our People Experience team helps create the foundation that enables our people to do their best work. We’re looking for a Senior People Experience Operations Partner who is passionate about creating seamless employee experiences while building the operational rigor needed to support a growing, global organization.
You’ll own critical moments across the employee lifecycle—from a new hire’s first day through employee changes, leaves, and offboarding. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is energized by making people processes simpler, more scalable, and better than they were yesterday.
What you'll do:
- Own key employee lifecycle operations, including global onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and leave administration, ensuring each experience is timely, accurate, compliant, and employee-centered.
- Maintain the integrity of our people data by processing employee changes, managing HRIS records, conducting audits, and producing routine and ad hoc workforce reporting.
- Deliver high-quality employee and manager support by owning PX Operations request channels, interpreting policies, resolving operational questions, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Build for scale by developing SOPs, identifying process gaps, and improving workflows to create greater consistency and efficiency across PX Operations.
- Partner cross-functionally across People Experience and the business to coordinate critical activities, solve problems, and continuously improve the employee experience.
What we're looking for:
- 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or a related field, with hands-on experience across onboarding, offboarding, leave, and benefits-related processes.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and managing employee data, reporting, audits, and high-volume transactional workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- A proactive, service-oriented approach with the ability to independently investigate issues and drive them through resolution.
- Experience with UKG, Jira, or similar HR operations and case-management technologies.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR operational practices.
- Experience supporting a multi-state and/or international employee population.
- Experience documenting processes and improving or scaling People Operations programs.
