Role Overview

We’re looking for a Finance and Administration Manager to join KrakenD, one of Shop Circle’s core products within our Infrastructure & Developer Tools business unit.

The role will focus on supporting financial operations, reporting, and administrative processes in close collaboration with our central Finance team as we continue to scale globally. This is a key position that bridges local operations in Spain and group-level reporting and governance, ensuring strong controls, accuracy, and efficiency across all finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Act as the main point of contact for all finance and admin matters related to KrakenD.
• Partner with local management and Group Finance to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Transition management accounts from cash to accrual basis and ensure alignment between PGC and IFRS.
• Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis, KPIs, and performance insights.

Transactional Finance & Controls

• Manage day-to-day accounting, invoicing, expenses, and reconciliations in Holded.
• Oversee revenue recognition for advance-billed software contracts.
• Maintain documentation, reconciliations, and audit trails, driving continuous process improvement.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Collaborate with the UK FP&A team on budgets, rolling forecasts, and cost control.
• Prepare spend dashboards and provide insights on variances to plan.

Compliance, Payroll & Admin

• Support statutory reporting and tax compliance in Spain, coordinating with local advisors.
• Oversee payroll and HR administration for the KrakenD team.
• Support the transition of accounting systems from Holded to SAP Business ByDesign (Group ERP).

Who You Are

• 5-8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting in Spain, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Deep understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and GAAP/IFRS alignment.
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and strong business English.
• Degree in ADE, Economía, Contabilidad y Finanzas, or similar.
