The role

Forward Deployed Engineers at Strada operate like startup CTOs — working directly with customers with full ownership of high-impact projects.

This role is perfect if you have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to significantly influence both product evolution and customer success, in a fast-paced environment.

You will be joining us in-person at our SF office, and working at the forefront of voice AI technology in a $300B industry ripe for innovation.

What you'll do

• Implement robust proof-of-concept projects of our AI agents, to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and scope new use cases, driving growth and expanding platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, providing real-time solutions to maintain reliability and performance.
• Influence product roadmap by translating customer feedback into actionable insights for our engineering team.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of relevant, post-college work experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for addressing technical challenges involving data systems, cloud infrastructure, and API integrations.
• A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills, explaining technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Passion about learning and keeping up with latest AI advancements.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with prompt engineering or working with AI/LLM-based platforms.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Prior experience in industries such as insurance, fintech, or similarly regulated sectors.
• Experience as an early-stage startup engineer or founder.
