YOUR MISSION

As a member of the True Anomaly Space Operations team, you have the unique opportunity to help inform our company offerings and product lines from a mission-first perspective. Our team uses modeling, simulation, and operational analysis to inform company leadership and our customers on mission impacts of our portfolio. Our team helps to evaluate mission effectiveness of current and future product offerings, balancing mission goals and product cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze satellite system data to identify trends and issues. Create reports and visualizations to guide operator workflow and drive future operations.
  • Acquire diverse expertise is needed to understand system outputs during mission operations.

Process Improvement:

  • Assess and enhance processes for the evaluation of satellite design and employment.

Rapid Prototyping Oversight:

  • Manage the creation and testing of quick prototypes.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software directorates to design prototypes for both immediate use and future inclusion into Mosaic architecture.
  • Proficiency in either Typescript or Python at a minimum.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and address risks related to satellite operations.
  • Ensure that operations stay within defined constraints and develop plans to manage potential issues.
  • Work with Flight Software to address persistant discrepancies within both simulated and live data.
  • Surge support for on-orbit operations.

Software Development Liason:

  • Provide operational expertise in one of the key software technologies critical to company success.
  • These include front-end design, backend architecture design, and algorithm development.
  • Computer languages that fit within this include Typescript, Python, C++, and Elixir, among others.
  • Maximum participation is development teams as they are stood up.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science (MS preferred) in engineering, physics, math, or related technical discipline.
  • Deep understanding of Differential Equations, critical for understanding FSW math.
  • Working knowledge of Statistics.
  • 3+ years of coding experience in Typescript, Python, or R.
  • 5+ years engineering level experience with one or more of the following: Astrodynamics, Control Systems, RF Communications, Sub-System Design.
  • Top Secret Clearance.

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $147,000 - $168,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Denver or Colorado Springs. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.
  • Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
