YOUR MISSION
The Principal Supply Chain Analyst will be a key contributor to our end-to-end supply chain operations for True Anomaly special programs. You will be responsible for analyzing supply chain activities, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to solve complex problems, an eye for detail, and the capacity to coordinate across functional teams to optimize processes and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze Supply Chain Data:
- Collect, validate, and interpret data from various sources to evaluate operational performance and forecast trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory levels, lead times, vendor performance, cost metrics).
- Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps within the supply chain process and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Logistics, IT, etc.) to implement process improvements and monitor impact.
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting:
- Support the development of demand forecasts, inventory plans, and procurement strategies through advanced data analysis techniques.
- Contribute insights for capacity planning and risk mitigation strategies.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers and other external partners to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Provide analytical support during contract negotiations and performance reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. or M.B.A in supply chain management, business analytics, Industrial engineer or related field.
- 15+ years in supply chain analysis, operations, logistics or similar role.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and test procedures.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills being able to describe supply chain risk to stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with various cross-functional groups.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Background in space systems, defense or UAV programs.
- Experience standing up new manufacturing processes.
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain).
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $145,000-$200,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
- Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our factory in Long Beach, CA
- Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
- Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
