Not familiar with trade promotion spend? That’s OK. Most people aren’t. It’s an $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup. In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers. The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track. The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. About the Role

As the Director, Onboarding & Integrations at Vividly, you will lead post-sales customer experience to ensure seamless onboarding, successful ERP/BI integrations, and world-class onboarding support delivery.

You’ll oversee and scale a high-performing team of Onboarding Specialists and Integration Engineers, driving process excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires deep expertise in ERP integrations, workflow automation, & technical onboarding best practices. Your team will leverage tools like Workato and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to develop APIs and enhance integration capabilities.

Additionally please note that candidates with experience in the CPG industry will be considered as priority candidates along with those that possess deep experience in Accounting/Finance systems.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience scaling Implementation teams in high-growth SaaS companies. At a minimum you have proven your capabilities to grow this function at two or more companies and have grown/managed teams to 15+ team members.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Implementation

  • Lead project management of enterprise customer onboarding(s), ensuring a smooth, structured, and value-driven experience.
  • Build and configure custom blueprint portals tailored to client needs and business processes.
  • Optimize onboarding speed and accuracy to reduce time-to-value.
  • Develop deep product expertise to provide creative solutions for complex onboarding challenges.
  • Manage onboarding timelines (typically 3–5 months) and maintain proactive, milestone-driven client communication.
  • Create and iterate on system administrator training materials to empower client teams post-launch.
  • Implement AI and automation tools to streamline onboarding workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Coach and mentor Onboarding Specialists to uphold high-quality customer experiences and consistency.

Integrations & Automation

  • Oversee development and maintenance of seamless ERP (NetSuite, SAP, MS Dynamics, Sage, etc.) and BI tool integrations.
  • Build and optimize Workato workflow recipes and automation strategies to improve accuracy and scale (your team does this but you should be well-versed in this area).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to build APIs and expand integration functionality.
  • Monitor integration health and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues before they impact clients.
  • Train clients on exception handling and error management best practices.
  • Stay current on ERP/finance systems and trends to improve integration strategies and capabilities.
  • Support new product integrations, including modules such as Cash Application and beyond.
  • Mentor and develop Integration Engineers to maintain technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience leading and managing customer onboarding, implementation, integrations, and/or technical support/professional services teams.
    • Must have experience scaling these functions at two or more high-growth SaaS businesses.
  • Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performing post-sales or technical customer-facing teams.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) and BI tools, with hands-on integration experience.
  • Experience with Workato or similar automation/integration platforms preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with a process-oriented mindset and passion for operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • A thoughtful mentor and team coach who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Accounting experience/working with financial systems is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of the CPG space, TPM tools, and logistics is a huge plus.
